THE BALCONIES (Toronto)
Friday April 16th - 5:00pm
at Into the Music
B-245 McDermot
http://intothemusic.caThe Balconies formed in December of 2007 and quickly built up a reputation for their exciting, stripped down, high energy shows. Before long, they found themselves sharing bills with the likes of Mother Mother, Land of Talk, The Bicycles, Sister Suvi, and more. The Balconies’ debut album displays a unique brand of girl/boy-fronted, harmonious, epic pop rock that has been met with a staggering amount of positive acclaim from music critics worldwide.
What people are saying about The Balconies:
“An exceptional debut from this Toronto–based trio. Think equal parts The B–52s and the Talking Heads and you’re almost there.” - Pulse Niagara
“The Balconies’ self-titled debut is, quite simply, one of the best albums of the year.” -iheartmusic.net
“The Balconies are a power popping trio with a nice pedigree, tons of energy and the songwriting chops to make their self-titled, self released debut one to hear.” -HeroHill.com
